Connections Day: Seizure Awareness
Join Playfully Connected at the second annual Connections Day focused on Seizure Awareness, hosted by Families for Inclusion in honor of Epilepsy Awareness Month! This free community event offers families the opportunity to connect with local resources, meet others with similar experiences, and hear from a live panel discussing seizures, epilepsy, and their impact on individuals and families.
Stop by Playfully Connected’s Sensory Playtime station for hands-on fun, and visit our information table to learn how our free, play-based programs help strengthen family connections and support families throughout childhood.

Gather Round the Table: Community Resource Fair
Playfully Connected is excited to be part of Gather Round the Table, a free community resource fair hosted by Illuminate Community Outreach at Railroad Museum Park in DeQuincy! Join us for free food, a bounce house, resource vendors, shopping vendors, and plenty of opportunities to connect with local organizations and families. Stop by Playfully Connected’s Sensory Playtime station for hands-on sensory fun for little ones and their caregivers. We can’t wait to connect with our community through play!
Inclusive Trunk or Treat
Join Playfully Connected at the Milestones Behavioral Services’ Inclusive Trunk-or-Treat at Lake Area Adventures! This welcoming Halloween event is designed with individuals with disabilities and their families in mind, celebrating different sensory needs, paces, and ways of participating. Stop by our decorated trunk for goodies, try our monster bean bag toss, and learn more about Playfully Connected and our family-focused programs.

Potty Training Essentials
Playfully Connected is proud to sponsor this free, four-hour toilet-training workshop through the Franciscan University School of Arts & Sciences and Potty Prep School! Designed for parents and toddlers, this workshop combines evidence-based potty-training strategies with play-based activities to help little ones build confidence and make the toilet-training journey more positive and manageable.
